Rather than articulate a clear standard by which the conspiracy theorist could be banned, Facebook and its competitors cited vague prohibitions on ‘hate.’

Alex Jones is a full-fledged kook.

This is a man who called Special Counsel Robert Mueller a “monster” controlling an unnamed pedophilic gang, and then added, “Politically, you’re going to get it, or I’m going to die trying, bi**h. Get ready. We’re going to bang heads.” This is a man who suggested that the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre never occurred, and then claimed that victims were “child actors.” This is a fellow who says that vaccines give your children autism, who says that a Syrian chemical-weapons attack was a “false flag,” that Stoneman Douglas survivor David Hogg was a “crisis actor,” that the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria was actually a pedophilic headquarters, and that the Chobani yogurt company had contributed to a rise in tuberculosis.

This week, he was banned from Facebook, Apple, and YouTube . . . for none of the above reasons.

The Internet is just the expansion of the printing press.

They always assume people are too stupid to decide for themselves what is "true" so they and their superior sensibilities think they should decide for you.

This is exactly what the 1st amendment is about.

Absolutely, double, triple standards.....wasn't built on them, we have them now though.

It is not about promoting violence or conspiracies. Democrats do that every single day. According to the super rich Democrats, all that matters is who you are promoting violence or conspiracies against. If it is about Republicans, Christians, or White people in general, that is just fine. No problem. But any conspiracy or violence against anything or anyone on the Left is absolutely forbidden.

Rosie O'Donnell, and others in Hollywood, fervently believes that President Bush blew up the world trade center. Is she banned?
Maxine Waters promotes violence with every speech she makes. Is she banned.
So many actors and sports stars believe that the illuminati killed Tupac Shakur and other prominent Black people. And that the illuminati controls all sports and all of Hollywood.
Antifa is founded on and is all about violence. It is their creed. Are they banned on Facebook?

People like Alex Jones are not exclusively Rightwing. The Left has plenty of their own nutcases. However, the only people who ever get 'banned' are people on the Right. And the Left, as always, gets a pass for their violence and lunacy.
