You got to give him credit...he's getting much better.  Nearly 8 minutes mimics human behavior, and the other 22 minutes was barely inflammatory and only marginally offensive.  At this rate I might feel comfortable pulling the pins from my President Donald J Trump voodoo doll mere weeks after his passing.

Polls indicate that Trump’s endorsement made little difference — and in fact Strange lost to Roy Moore by a greater margin than polls suggested at the time of Trump’s endorsement. While Trump says Strange was in fifth place, there were only three candidates in the GOP primary.

They get caught in their own lie.  While the WaPo may believe only 3 of the candidates had any real chance at winning, there were actually 10 in the primary.  The top 2 went to the runoff.  Here are the results.......

     Republican  Roy Moore  38.9% 164,524
     Republican  Luther Strange  32.8% 138,971
     Republican  Mo Brooks  19.7% 83,287
     Republican  Trip Pittman  6.9% 29,124
     Republican  Randy Brinson  0.6% 2,621
     Republican  Bryan Peeples  0.4% 1,579
     Republican  Mary Maxwell  0.4% 1,543
     Republican  James Beretta  0.3% 1,078
     Republican  Dom Gentile  0.1% 303
     Republican  Joseph Breault  0.1% 252

Trump is the consummate self-promoter, puffery is the tool of the trade.  Now he’s a politician, too, and most politicians lie nearly every time they open their mouths.

I didn’t need to read the article. The entire GOP has lied for 6+ years, telling their voters they would repeal Obamacare.

We enjoy the good things. We acknowledge the not-so-good things. It's called being realistic. The president is doing some good things, but to act like he's infallible or that he never screws up is not an intelligent thing to do.

That's right.  Anyone who points out that Trump is fallible is a hater. 

Funny thing is that I heard that term "hater" when Obama was president.  It was a slur used by liberal Democrats against anyone whom  didn't worship Obama, the messiah.

I don't know that. One can exaggerate, stray from or stretch the truth without actually being a "pathological liar." That's a psychological term of art, I suspect, and I doubt any of us is qualified to make that diagnosis.  ^-^
