They call out "hate" & the "demonization" of trans people, while saying they "will not be used as political pawns"
They encourage fans to tell their "elected officials to strengthen Title IX", while encouraging them report "hateful" and "abusive behavior" to security at games.
The lack of awareness, gaslighting, & virtue signaling is off the charts...

The WNBA don't seem to grasp that opposition to men competing against women in women's sports leagues has nothing to do with hate. It's fairness. Women and men do not share a level playing field. Trust me on this. I played high school and college women's basketball. From about age 40-52, I played against men in a daily pickup game at the local college. All of them - from college students to professors - were stronger than I; most were taller. I loved it, but came out of it with my share of injuries, including a particularly vivid black eye.
