Amazon doubles down on Melania with plans for a new docuseries on the First LadyThe Independent, Aug 5, 2026
Amazon Prime can’t get enough of Melania Trump.
Months after Amazon MGM Studios released the documentary film Melania, her senior adviser Marc Beckman announced Tuesday that the first lady will be the subject of a new Amazon Prime docuseries slated to be released on the platform later this year.
“This fall, we are following the film with a docuseries surrounding the first lady, surrounding Melania Trump,” Beckman told Real America’s Voice host Eric Bolling, adding that the project is a “completely different look at her world” than the Brett Ratner-directed film.
While Melania chronicled the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s second inauguration in 2025, the new show will follow Melania at the beginning of her husband’s second term.
“We open the window, a little bit, into her private life, her marriage, her family,” Beckman explained. “We open a little deeper into her career, as well as her philanthropy, but with the docuseries, it’s a little bit different. It’s shot different. It’s a different story. It’s a full new experience for the viewers.”
He added: “I hope everybody tunes in because it’s gonna show a part of the first lady that hasn’t been seen yet.”
