Let's see if his replacement does any better (assuming the Pubbies retain the Senate and House next session).

The Senate will remain "broken" until either the filibuster rule is repealed or one side gains a 60 seat supermajority (probably an impossibility in the foreseeable future).

Almost brings credence to the dsa platform that seeks to abolish the "upper" house...
