Trump promised a 50% cut.  What happened?

The Twelvers who controlled Iran's leadership were threatening the world with nuclear annihilation, something had to be done about it, and America was the only nation who could stop them.

Aside from that, Leftists have viciously opposed nuclear power, causing the shutdown of the nuclear plants (Seabrook) that we once had in New Hampshire, and environmental activists and their endless lawsuits have prevented the construction of any new pipelines or power distribution networks for well over 50 years.
"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

Prices have risen in all but a few states.  Also, Trump knew about 60% enrichment as far back as 2021.  (which is still quite a leap from threatening the world with irradiation) Why did he make such a ridiculous campaign promise if he had no means or intentions of honoring it?

Irrespective of his generally sensible military and foreign policy, Trump has always possessed a disconcerting habit of exaggeration.

Most politicians have been guilty of the same thing, since time immemorial. But I really do wish he'd stop. The stakes are much higher than normal, these days.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has been pointing out the risks and vulnerability of over-reliance on a much-constrained natural gas supply.

Maybe ratepayers and the State of New Hampshire can file a Federal class-action lawsuit, on the basis of interstate commerce, against the states of New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Maine - with Amicus Briefs from FERC, Interstate Commerce Commision, D.o.D., and utilities (public and private) - get some interstate natural gas piplines built from the nearby Utica and Marcellus shale formations.

NIMBY states are inflicting harms upon the residents of other states without their consent.

Declare War against "No!' ... make Federalism work like it was meant to.

I bet Cow Hampshire wishes that the Seabrook II reactor acutally got built ... in defiance of the Masshole peacenik protestors.
