JD Vance warns GOP that a socialist president is possible if it doesn't fix the economy
Vice President JD Vance warned during an interview Wednesday that if Republicans don’t fix the economic missteps of recent decades, young people will elect a socialist president.

Podcaster Joe Rogan revealed during his interview with Vance on "The Joe Rogan Experience" that the rise of democratic socialists in politics has left him shaken.

"Those f---ing people scare me," Rogan declared.

Vance replied by noting that, in his book, "Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith," he laid out the historic norms of a Christian idea of a political economy that has been lost in recent American politics, one which was the norm throughout most of Western history and avoids the pitfalls of free markets and socialism.

A socialist president would be bad enough if that were all, but it wouldn't be.  Little things like the marginalizing of the Constitution, fraud, political enemies being rounded up, a meaningless congress would accompany the "president." You know, like is being practiced now.

This is the first time I've seen a VP throw away his chance to be President before the midterm elections!
I don’t owe tolerance to people who disagree with my existence.
I will NOT comply.

If the $T's of investment pans out, we work out the kinks for a efficient work force, this should all work out.   What?  Vance doesn't embrace Trump's strategy and vision?

And the youth?   Pretty sure the kids embracing this socialist movement are lazy in the first place.

Congressional Republicans will never do the heavy lifting necessary to remove the structural inefficiencies and over-consolidated sectors of our economy.

One front of reforms, needs to be old fashioned Teddy Roosevelt style trust busting of anti-competitive monopolies, oligopolies, cartels, etc.

Another front is for Federal programs and funds to states to reward YIMBY and punish NIMBY.

The state and local, and sometimes Federal, NIMBY's have created supply-constrained and growth-constrained local and state economies.  This lack of supply has stratified society into those "who already have theirs" and those "who wish to get some of their own".

The solution to the lack of housing in certain markets is simple ... build more housing and make necessary investments in infrastructure to suppor a growing local and state economy ... but, limosuine liberal NIMBY's will have none of that.
