FPV drones will be hunting US troops individually along with incoming artillery and missile fire ... US casualties will be very high.

Had they just taken out the pumps that pump the oil to the island, all of those troops would not have died.

Tactically, taking the island with troops is a very bad move.

Vance rules out US ground invasion of Iran: ‘We’re not in that business anymore’

Vice President JD Vance ruled out sending American ground troops into Iran to overthrow its government, arguing that regime change must come from the Iranian people rather than the U.S. military.

“If the Iranian people want to rise up and change their government, that’s up to them,” Vance said during an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience.” “But we’re not going to send 150,000 ground troops in order to accomplish a change in a regime.”

“We’re not in that business anymore. We’re just not,” he added.

Vance also warned against allowing Iran to collapse into a failed state like Libya, saying such an outcome could unleash terrorism and send millions of refugees into Europe and the United States.

He said the administration’s immediate goals are to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, protect the flow of oil and gas and prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Up to 50,000 flight tickets may be canceled during July following an American decision to freeze the evacuation of its refuelers stationed at Ben-Gurion Airport, the Israel Airports Authority (IAA) warned on Thursday.

IAA director-general Sharon Kedmi released a letter expressing concern over the decision. "This delay has immediate and serious operational consequences," he stated.

Transportation Ministry Director-General Moshe Ben Zaken also said additional US refueling aircraft would not be permitted to land at the airport. Israeli air traffic control had reportedly been instructed not to approve any further US refuelers for landing in Israel.

Citizens cannot be harmed; the Defense Ministry must find solutions," Ben Zaken said.

The Israel Airports Authority (IAA), which operates under the ministry, had issued the ban on Tuesday citing capacity concerns during the peak summer travel season.

Vice President JD Vance asserted in a bombshell interview with Joe Rogan that some in the Israeli government want to derail US negotiations with Iran to keep the war going “indefinitely” — and he acknowledged the Trump administration “screwed up” the release of the Epstein files.

“I know beyond a shadow of a doubt there have been people within the Israeli government who are trying to shift us away from [negotiations] because they want to continue the military campaign,” Vance told the popular podcaster during an episode of the “Joe Rogan Experience” released Wednesday.

“There are some people within their system, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt, who are manipulating and trying to change American public opinion to keep the war going on indefinitely,” the vice president added. “Again, not towards any objective, but just indefinitely.”

Without naming Israel, Vance further alleged that there is a “very discreet, extremely well-funded … literal foreign-influence campaign being funded to tank” the Iran deal.

The vice president, however, was adamant that Israeli pressure didn’t influence President Trump’s decision to go to war in Iran.

“I think the president, completely separate from any influence from Israel, believes very strongly, and I agree with this, that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon.”

Vance described himself as a “reasonable moderate” in the “massive pro-Israel, anti-Israel debate” taking place in the US...

Midway through the nearly three-hour-long interview, Rogan asked Vance about the Trump administration’s “resistance” to releasing government files related to notorious sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.

The vice president acknowledged missteps but insisted there was no cover-up.

“We absolutely screwed up the comms of the Epstein files. Like, we just did,” Vance said. “But do I think the reason we screwed up the comms is because we were trying to hide something? No.”
