Does the Amazon Leo counter part not count? What about Viasat and HughesNet (owned by EchoStar) are they not also competitors?
Gave it some thought, and does anyone really think Bezos is into it for the long run? Seems his priorities seem now be around chasing women, and living on laurels. And with AMZ.... That is a lifetime cash cow. Can you blame him.
The others? I think they will suffer on scale, and technological gaps. Think MySpace vs. Facebook. And.... if Elon can get his mitts on Verizon? He'll control whole blocks of every aspect of internet coverage. Basically, what might not technically be a monopoly, will be a significant business advantage. Then augment that with the other jewels... SpaceX, Neural Link, Grok, (maybe adding TSLA, X). Business shows are hinting that Elon might throw the dice, and turn his portfolio into a tech conglomerate.
..... Then, when the dims want to exact revenge, they'll force a break-up like Standard Oil. And those typically are cashcows for stock holders. Then, watch all the M & A from that point with seed stock?

I did see that it is just a tad below everybody's aquistion price of $150/sh today. I think the financial fundamental are crazy right now, when you consider this not a normal IPO. In my 45 years of investing, this is the first time, I am weighing the LT as one of those who has the highest upside potential? It's a big gamble, and no one should invest core funds. But as fun money to invest? It doesn't get any better than this, and I'd wager in a 75 years, by great grandchildren will be thanking me,
