In the wake of Karmelo Anthony’s conviction for stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death at a Texas track meet, Crockett decided to weigh in with a series of comments that are as cruel as they are tone-deaf.
First, she claimed that B**ck women in America face more suffering than the Metcalf family ever could. Crockett said: “B**ck women live in agony every day that I promise the Metcalfs had never lived through.”
