Iranian authorities have indicted Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and others affiliated with opposition broadcasters Manoto TV and Iran International, accusing them of helping instigate nationwide protests in January.

According to The Jerusalem Post, Tehran Prosecutor Ali Salehi announced that the indictment has been issued and said the case would be referred to a court for trial in days.

"Today, I must announce that the indictment against Reza Pahlavi and other anti-regime elements from the Manoto and Iran International networks has been issued," Salehi said.

"God willing, within the next few days, it will be sent to the court for judicial proceedings."

Salehi said the defendants are accused of "creating the conditions" for the unrest on Jan. 8-9, 2026.

An estimated 40,000 Iranians were reportedly killed by state security forces during the protests.

Iran's Foreign Ministry said Monday that no talks with the United States are scheduled in the coming days in Doha, according to Reuters.

Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said in a statement that an Iranian technical delegation traveling to Qatar this week was not connected to U.S. officials visiting the country, the outlet reported.

Baghaei added that Tehran has not begun negotiations on a final agreement because implementation of key provisions of the memorandum of understanding remains its current priority.

This came as the White House said senior U.S. officials would travel to Doha for expected negotiations.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner will travel for high-level meetings with Iran as discussions over a memorandum of understanding continue.

Trump also said Monday that Iran had requested a meeting and that talks would take place in Doha on Tuesday.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the White House for comment.

Not only is Iran laughing at "Can't we all just have peace? Trump" they have grown bold and unafraid enough to actually make a fool of him.
And they are absolutely sure Trump will not do a goddam thing about it.

Trump told Israel that they are 'on their own'. So, Israel will do all the things to protect themselves that Mr. Trump is afraid to do.

What would I like to see will never happen.

Decimate the IRGC and Mullahs...liberate the Iranian people and install the Shaw or a leader that will create a government for the people...

Trump was right at the beginning of this *war*...*bomb them back to the stone ages* but he neglected to understand that their mindset has never advanced beyond that.

All of this would would require boots on the ground which brings me to admit I don't want to see another war in the ME....been there and done that!

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Monday that Tehran is committed to the memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the United States, provided Washington upholds its obligations.

"Mutual understanding is a two-way street," Pezeshkian wrote in a post shared on X.

"If the American side adheres to the agreement, we will also fulfill our commitments," he added.

"Our approach to unreasonable saber-rattling and baseless threats is to rely on rationality and human dignity in decision-making, while defending decisively and fearlessly when action is required," Pezeshkian said.

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Secretary of State Marco Rubio briefed members of Congress by phone on Monday about the Iran negotiations.

The unclassified briefing took place at 4 p.m. EDT.

According to Reuters, Republican Sen. Steve Daines told reporters the administration kept its remarks to a minimum but nonetheless described the conversation as "constructive."

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, however, called the briefing "deficient and devoid of details."

"After dragging America into a costly war, the Trump administration still can't name a single thing Americans got in return. Instead, Secretary Rubio confirmed to me that Iran will reap billions in oil revenue while retaining dangerous leverage over the Strait of Hormuz," Schumer said.

President Donald Trump is sending Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to lead a new round of technical talks in Doha, Qatar, this week, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Trump's ego won't let him admit that he made a mistake tyring to negotiate with Iran.

Trump's ego won't allow him to admit he made a mistake letting Netanyahu talk him into going to war with Iran.

Trump is being snookered by Putin and the mullahs, but his ego keeps pushing him to double down on the mistaken delusion that he can make a deal with these people.

Trump is more consistent with his enemies than his allies, because he views his enemies as strong while views his allies as weak because they need him or something he has.

Trump can abuse his allies because he thinks he has leverage over them, while he lacks such leverage over his enemies.

In Trump's mind, allies are chumps because they can't stand on their own without his help while enemies are worthy adversaries because they don't need his help.

With the Congress breathing down his neck waving a War Powers resolution vote, what choice did he have?
Those fools would force a de facto surrender.

Instead, he hammered out a 'deal'. If he can get the terms he wants, and get it to stand, great!

If not, he had a cease fire, an MOU, signed, and if they break the deal, the clock is arguably reset to hit them for another 60 days.
It is certain that every move they have made has been viewed and the positions of all their stuff noted (i.e., we have a target list), and the bridges and power plants etc. option is still open if and when hostilities resume at scale.

For now, if they get out of line, he can smack them down, because the Congress won't dare say Americans can't hit back when hit.

Trump told Israel that they are 'on their own'. So, Israel will do all the things to protect themselves that Mr. Trump is afraid to do.

No, Trump did not tell Israel they are on their own.  Trump warned Netanyahu that Israel *would" be.  Netanyahu responded -- and continues to respond -- accordingly.

Quote
Netanyahu called off major Iran strike after Trump warned Israel would be on its own — reports
Times of Israel, Jun 8, 2026

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly called off a major strike on Iran on Monday with fighter jets on the runway, after US President Donald Trump instructed him not to escalate Israel’s fight with the Islamic Republic.

Following the exchange of fire, Trump reportedly told Netanyahu on Monday to hold off on further attacks. The US president, who began the war in late February in partnership with Israel, told Channel 12 that he warned Netanyahu amid the conflict that if Israel escalated the fight, it could find itself left alone in the battle.

The president and prime minister reportedly spoke multiple times over the course of Sunday and Monday, with Trump urging an end to the renewed conflict and Netanyahu making the case for Israeli strikes. Iran also said it would hold its fire.

Shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz rebounded Tuesday morning, with eight crossings so far after 40 vessels moved through the critical waterway Monday, according to Kpler data.

The rebound comes after some days of declining traffic following attacks on commercial vessels in the region due to renewed strikes between the U.S. and Iran late last week.

Crossings fell from 76 on Wednesday, June 24, to 59 on Thursday, when the Ever Lovely was attacked.

Traffic then dropped to 50 crossings Friday, 39 on Saturday, when the Kiku was attacked, and just 24 on Sunday before recovering to 40 on Monday.

Of Monday’s 40 crossings, 10 vessels used the southern Omani route, which the U.S. Navy is helping coordinate. Thirty-two of the 40 vessels were large tankers and bulk carriers.

More of Monday’s crossings were east-to-west, meaning ships were moving into the Gulf to load cargo. That carries less insurance risk because vessels are typically entering empty, rather than leaving the Gulf with oil or other cargo aboard.

The traffic rebound suggests shippers are beginning to move again despite weekend attacks, heightened security risks and uncertain diplomatic talks ahead.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most important energy corridors, and any disruption can quickly ripple through oil markets and consumer fuel prices.

Iran has sought to assert leverage over the strait, but new corridors, pipelines and other bypass routes are giving shippers additional options to move cargo around the region.

Gas was at $3.84 on Tuesday morning.

A defiant Iran is not conceding anything, potentially forcing President Donald Trump's "strength" hand on return to armed conflict, as the Strait of Hormuz control remains an Iranian red line.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said world's leading state sponsor of terror is determined to maintain its right over the management of the Strait of Hormuz.

Baghaei also said Iran has not received any details about a proposed dialogue forum with Gulf Arab countries in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions over security and shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global energy supplies.

Why do we need to negotiate with a nation we've allegedly obliterated?

Man, I miss the days of unconditional surrender and disproportial responses.

The only way to get rid of the mullahs and the IRGC is to arm and train internal insurgents to engage in a civil war.

It's ugly.  It's messy.  But, what are the better alternatives?

You have bitched nonstop about every damned thing Trump has done and said about Iran since February 28, and have taken Iran's statements as true. I laugh too.  You are a fool.

Personal attacks?

Call it what you will.  I just called it believing every lie that comes down the pike from a self-described enemy of the United States, aka "The Great Satan."
I don’t owe tolerance to people who disagree with my existence.

To me, you can't call for personal attacks to stop and then turn around and call someone a fool can you?

I think that might dependent on how foolish someone is being.  I'll amend my comment to "so-and-so is being foolish for believing every word said by a known lying entity, while calling every word said by our elected leader is a lie."

Better?

Internal Collapse: Overstretched IRGC Faces Chaos as Kurdish Fighters Ignite Multiple Fronts Inside Iran

A massive wave of armed insurrections and targeted assassinations has erupted across western Iran, leaving multiple regime security forces dead as overstretched IRGC units struggle to contain internal rebellions while fighting a broader regional war.

A fresh wave of violence is shaking Iran’s Kurdish west, where Kurdish opposition fighters and Iranian regime forces are now clashing across multiple flashpoints from Mahabad and Baneh to Paveh and Marivan. The sudden intensification of domestic fighting comes at a critical moment for the Islamic Republic, as its elite military forces find themselves highly vulnerable to localized insurgencies. Tehran is forced to divert critical resources to its western borderlands even as it deals with massive strategic losses and geopolitical pressure across the wider Middle East.

The latest escalation comes as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claims it killed six members of a Kurdish opposition team in the mountains between Mahabad and Piranshahr. Regime officials announced that four bodies, weapons, and equipment were successfully seized after an IRGC ambush backed by heavy artillery fire. The Free Life Party of Kurdistan, known as PJAK, has not yet confirmed those claimed losses among its ranks.

This mountainous clash follows a string of highly targeted attacks on regime security personnel deep within civilian areas. In Paveh, two local IRGC and Basij members were shot dead directly outside their homes, while two others were left severely wounded. State linked outlets and local officials reported that two armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire at the entrance of the residential buildings before fleeing the scene. The deceased men were officially identified as Burhan Karisani and Khaled Khaledinia, both local regime linked personnel.
