I'm pretty sure it was the IRGC that executed 40,000 civilians and not the Regular Army.

The Republican Guard served not only as bodyguards to the Leaders but also as Sharia Enforcers.

Ok, Trump was lied to by whom @Right_in_Virginia ???  There have been reports of past Generals, Cain and others who warned Trump that Iran cannot be trusted yet Trump abruptly stops bombing, creates ceasefires which Iran broke several times ... and now an agreement has been reached with reports reflecting that Iran has gotten the better end of the stick. 

Both sides of Congress do not know what is in this agreement; that is according to Chuckie and Cruz.  I still trust Cruz.  He's speaking up on this subject IMO because reports of what he's been  hearing don't sit well with him. I think he's likely getting better information than we are.
