🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iranian media is now laying out the 14 clauses of the draft deal between Iran and the U.S.

Here are all of them one by one:

* Sanctions on Iranian oil, petrochemicals, and related exports would be suspended.

* Iran would regain full access to its financial resources.

* $24 billion in frozen Iranian funds would be released during the 60-day negotiation window.

* $12 billion of that would be released before talks even begin.

* The U.S. and its allies would have to present reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion.

* The war would stop immediately and permanently on all fronts, including Lebanon.

* The U.S. would commit to non-interference in Iranian affairs and respect for Iranian sovereignty.

* The U.S. naval blockade would be fully lifted within 30 days.

* U.S. forces would withdraw from areas around Iran.

* The Strait of Hormuz would reopen within 30 days under Iranian arrangements.

* A 60-day negotiation window would begin to reach a final deal on nuclear issues and the full lifting of sanctions.

* Iran would reaffirm its NPT commitment not to produce nuclear weapons.

* The U.S. would agree not to add forces to the region or impose new sanctions during negotiations.

* A supervisory mechanism would monitor implementation, and any final deal would be approved by a UN Security Council resolution.

Iran’s missile program and support for resistance groups are completely off the table.

Final negotiations would reportedly not begin until the $12 billion is released, oil sanctions are suspended, and the blockade is lifted.

The goal is to have the Gulf States strengthen the barrier around Iran.  Israel is not enough.

Their intelligence is unreliable, requiring a new level of trust but verify.  Going back to Netanyahu's testimony that the Iraqi people would greet US soldiers in the streets of Baghdad cheering them as liberators to assuring this President --- to his face --- that Iran didn't have the ability to affect the Strait of Hormuz --- Israeli intelligence is often adjusted to pull the US directly or by proxy into a war Israel wants.

Israel should no longer be the prime resource for intelligence in the ME, and we are expanding our security resources as a result.

In an area of terrorism we rely on them as stewards of peace towards the U.S.

This ⬆️ sounds exactly backwards.  Israel has always relied on the money, military resources, and global diplomatic power of the United States for their own peace and security. 

And, BTW,  Likud's Israel has not been a steward of peace --- for anyone.

Most Americans live in a sheltered bubble, safe from the harsh realities found in the rest of the world. It can't happen here, no way they would attack, sure that's what they say but we've got the biggest baddest military, there's no such things as aliens, flying saucers are a hoax, the list goes on and on to the point of being tiresome. Naming their state capital is difficult for some.

Contemplating a nuclear attack by an Iranian ICBM combines two impossibilities for most Americans.

Um, were you aware that Trump has issued multiple statements across the globe saying that a deal has been reached.  If there's anyone on this planet that would want to clear the record here, it would be him.  But what do we get?  Silence.  Complete silence.  For the record, Trump is the one who put this on the front page.  So yes, it is a completely legitimate question to ask - inconvenient for you, but legitimate for the rest of us.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council announced in a statement that it had finalized the memorandum of understanding for a cease-fire deal with the United States under the guidance of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. The statement said the agreement came after “months of long and difficult negotiations,” and thanked Pakistan and Qatar for mediating the negotiations.

The council said the agreement includes: an end to the conflict and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, effective immediately, and an immediate end to the U.S. naval blockade on Iran. The statement said a formal signing ceremony will take place on Friday and negotiations will begin for a broader peace agreement.
