Ousted Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino has gone from angling for his job back to launching a full-scale attack on the Trump administration.

Bovino, the one-time face of Donald Trump’s brutal deportation operation that culminated in the deaths of two U.S. citizens at the hands of federal agents, condemned the president and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for what he described as a move to “water down mass deportations.”

On Sunday, Bovino shared a video of himself speaking at the Remigration Summit in the coastal city of Porto, Portugal, where far-right Europeans gathered to promote the mass expulsion of immigrants and minority groups from their countries. Ahead of the event, Bovino spoke to a far-right news outlet and said he was now in “battle” not with immigrants but with “timid politicians” afraid to target them on a mass scale, singling out Trump’s “inner circle.”

“I would have briefed Trump directly on several occasions, rather than relying on this inner circle who might have other interests,” he was quoted saying.

While at the summit, Bovino said that his former boss needed some “better advice” regarding immigration, in a blatant dig at current Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin.

“Mullin’s a great guy, great plumber, no doubt about that; he could probably fix a leaky faucet,” Bovino said of Mullin, who worked at his family plumbing business before he became a senator. “But a hundred million illegal aliens is not a leaky faucet.”

Yeah, ultimately the buck stops with Trump.  But I think Bovino knows that, just like he knew what his bureaucratic impediments were while he was operating in Minneapolis. 

Like when dealing with any other strongman leader, Bovino also knows that criticizing him directly is not a good strategy for success.  So you blame the subordinates to get the message across.

Fact is, Obama deported more folks than Trump, and the numbers are 20-30 million+ larger now post Wrecking Ball Joe than they were in the years of Obama.  There is no excuse.  TRUMP SHOULD BE DEPORTING 3 OR 4 TIMES THE NUMBERS THAT OBAMA DEPORTED.  THAT IS NOT HAPPENING!

He shoud be shoving immigration reform legislation down the throats of the absolutely do nothing Congress, and I do not see that happening either.

And Trump has gone limp on Iran too.  Very disappointing.  His use of the expression UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER in regard to Iran, I was ROFLMAO when I heard it, and so was Iran, because they knew he was talking out his posterior.  Now what, he is allowing precious time to SLIP BY, time he does not have the luxury of, because November will be here before you know it, and the American people DO NOT LIKE PAYING TWICE THE PRICE OF GASOLINE FROM JUST MONTHS AGO BECAUSE OF HIS WAR HE STARTED AND IS ALLOWING TO DRAG OUT.

You go to war, you kill the enemy.  Trump is NOT doing that.  He is utterly foolish to believe he is accomplishing anything whatsoever.  All he is doing is resetting the clock.  The stage may have different players in Iran, but as long as they are part of the radical muslim lunatics that have run the country for the past 47 years, absolutely nothing changes, other than their urgency to get to a nuclear weapon.  And their planning to create it deep underground in a safer facility from future US strikes.

Greg Bovino is a scapegoat.  Both shootings in Minnesota were justified, righteous shootings.  Trump does not have the backs of the people carrying out his most important election plank.  Pathetic!!!

ICE would not have to conduct as many searches in communities if Dem politicians allowed state, county, and local law enforcement officers honor ICE detainers.

Congress needs to defund any jurisdiction that does not honor ICE detainers.  It's a matter of Constiutional Supremacy of the Federal Government over foreign affairs and immigration.  The states have absolutely no foreign relations powers nor immigration powers.

Under Title 10, the president has some authority to federalize the National Guard and deploy them domestically to protect federal personnel and property. This authority is limited by statute and cannot be overridden by an executive order. Federalized National Guard troops are considered military and therefore CANNOT engage in domestic law enforcement unless the Insurrection Act is lawfully invoked. (10 U.S.C. 12406).

In Los Angeles, President Trump used authority under Title 10 to federalize the National Guard to support ICE agents and other federal personnel.

    It is disputed whether this deployment was legal under Title 10. Specifically, California argues that there wasn’t enough evidence to demonstrate that “the President is unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of the United States.” (10 U.S.C. 12406(c)). This is the subject of an appeal. The district court’s order is available here. The Ninth Circuit has stayed that order.
    The same district court recently had a trial on alleged violations of the Posse Comitatus Act. This law generally prevents the president from using the military as a domestic police force.

The interference of federal policing authorities to conduct their business is IMHO obstruction of justice and merits arrest with federal charges.  US marshals should be there arresting everyone that so much as lightly touches federal agents.

Screw that idiot governor and the *sshats of Newark.  And yes, the folks arrested were most certainly released the moment they got out of the van at the police station.  I doubt they saw the inside of the building.
