Things were so much more dignified at the White House when trannies roamed the grounds, flashing their fake bosoms.
I don't think "dignified" is the issue. I think what's happening is lacking seriousness about the miracle of this benchmark ---- what it took and will continue to take to keep it.
Trump's got the microphone, but I'm not hearing about planned national history lessons at multiple venues with the kind of uninterrupted script that will cause an outbreak of understanding and pride. America desperately needs a recommitment to its founding principles ---- and acknowledgement of its value, it's contributions, and its charter. The summer of our 250th birthday would be the perfect time.
But, apparently, the "no kings" growing crowd, et al, see an advantage in using this history making moment for their purposes.
And apparently, we've got dibs on the fun and games.
