A boy has been detained after allegedly plotting an elementary school shooting in Illinois.

The boy — a freshman at Plainfield High School-Central Campus, according to the school district in Plainfield — was detained by the Will County Sheriff’s Department (WCSD) after a relative caught him with a firearm, pinned him down and called 911, the department said on Facebook. His alleged target was Grand Prairie Elementary School in Joliet.

A relative finding a kid with a weapon and pinning him down, suggests to me the kid was in far out left field to begin with.   The relative had to have some sense of danger to react the way he did.

My take is that was exactly what relatives should do.  And if those closest to a potential terrorist do this more, we would have less incidents of mass murder.

Plainfield was pretty white back when I lived in the burbs.  I just checked the demographics and it is still mostly honkey.  About 20% are beaners and 14% have a propensity to chimp-out.

So, it will be interesting to see if this "Teen" was black or brown.
