John Fetterman's Chief of Staff quit and other staff has left at a high rate. This is probably because Fetterman behaves like a normal human being and not a Leftist scumbag.
 


Sen. John Fetterman's chief of staff resigned Wednesday, a source familiar with the move told Axios.Why it matters: The Pennsylvania Democrat has had a serious staff retention problem as he's faced scrutiny over his health struggles and changing political brand.


Driving the news:Cabelle St. John has served on Fetterman's team since he first came to Washington about three-and-a-half years ago. She became his chief of staff in 2025.
Her official last day will be in the coming weeks.

Fetterman, who was once a darling of the progressive movement, has seen major turnover as ex-aides have grown frustrated with his steadfast support for Israel and warmer approach toward President Trump.

Former staff have also complained about working with him on an interpersonal level.

It says volumes about most democrats, they don't think only follow party policy and thinking.

I was a Dem operative for the Democrat Majority Caucus of the California Legislature way back in the late 70s/early 80s. Believe me, you have no idea what a-holes politicians are until you have worked for them. I am betting Fetterman's inability to retain staff has more to do with his personality, and less to do with his policy positions.

And BTW, it is politicians of both parties. They all act like spoiled, petulant children. Most of them win election by sucking up to party leaders, then they hate themselves for being sycophantic leeches, so they take it out on their staff.

I saw the same thing when I was in grad school. If a professor had a hard time when he was a student, his resentment led him to abuse students himself. In politics, this is amplified because politicians, unlike profs, have real power over people.
