How about the GOP brought this upon themselves by not doing a darn thing.  The GOP has become deceitful, incompetent and inept. The Senate is part of the legislative branch  -- they have no one to blame but themselves.

Yep.  The voters gave them both Houses of Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court.  Yet they still can't pass a budget, but instead regurgitate Pelosi's budget from 2022.  The word 'worthless' comes to mind.
