Salim El Koudri, the knife and vehicle mujahid of Modena
Salim El Koudri is the young man of Moroccan ethnicity who is accused of ramming and wounding pedestrians with his car in the Italian city of Modena last weekend. Italian authorities had announced that the incident was not related to terror, but they may have to revise that decision now that a batch of emails written by Mr. El Koudri has been revealed.
Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this excerpt from an article in Il Tempo. This is the first paragraph of the article on the background of the Salim El Koudri:
“S****y Christian bastards, I will burn you and your Jesus on the cross.” The sentence was one of the emails sent April 27, 2021 to the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia by Salim El Koudri, the 31-year-old arrested Saturday in Modena after running down eight people with a car in the center of the city. The emails, four in a little less than one hour, are now being examined by the investigators. The first message arrives at 19:28: “You have to let me work as an employee, not as a warehouse worker, understand, and here in Modena, not in the a**hole of the world where you have €500 in your pocket per month if you are lucky.” A few minutes later, another request: “Let me work.” Then the insult against Christians and against Jesus. Finally, the apology: “Sorry for the rudeness.”
