WASHINGTON — Rudy Giuliani, New York City's former mayor, is in the hospital in "critical but stable" condition, according to reports.

"Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he's fighting with that same level of strength as we speak," his representative told ABC7 New York. "We do ask that you join us in prayer for America's Mayor-Rudy Giuliani."  ... https://www.khou.com/article/news/nation-world/rudy-giuliani-hospitalized-latest/507-73f311a9-ca35-45cd-b025-e4090b09460d

Critical but stable??  So, he's critically stable....

Anyways, prayers for his recovery.  What an extremely stark contrast between Guiliani and the current mayor, Mamdani.  Like him or not NYC was a much better place with Guiliani as mayor.
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

me, too - I saw Rudy on some tv show like a month ago and he looked terrible. You can tell the lefts' warfare against him has taken a toll.

Rudy certainly wasn't perfect, but God bless him for what he did get right.  Serious about street crime and 9/11.  I like that he threw Saudi money back in their faces.

I'm guessing he'll be off to Non Somali hospice care soon.

Then it is only a matter of time.

If he had been more socially conservative, he would have made a pretty good candidate in 2008. He had some good planks in his platform.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Prayers up for Rudy.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
