$3.71 in my state. Keep in mind average US prices include California, Hawaii, Washington, (all over $5) and Oregon and Nevada, both nearing $5.

Environmental regulations and taxes in the west coast states drive prices much higher than other states, skewing the average higher. Prices are as low as $3.55 in Kansas.

We are still around 3.55 here.   I'm sorry for all the poor blue state people held hostage.

To find higher gas prices, you'd have to go all the way back to the Biden regime.

Nobody's really complaining...simply making note of the sudden shifts, depending on the news cycle regarding Iran.

$4.29 here. I thought the while point of "drill, baby, drill" was so *this* wouldn't happen?  :pondering:

Oil is a globally traded commodity, price driven by bid.
If it is less available and demand is up (globally) the price goes up, set by bid in the trading pits.

Clearing the straits will bring relief.

The whole world needs to recognize that what is being done (and likely will be done) in Iran is a matter of economic necessity, not to mention the strategic and moral imperatives.
