High-profile attendees including Kari Lake, former FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, conservative influencer Mads Campbell, and others are now blowing the whistle on the shockingly lax security at the event attended by President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and top administration officials.



There needs to be a reckoning. The Secret Service still has way too many Obama and Biden era agents who weren't qualified, except for their political leanings.

That may be, but the Secret Service has a job to do.  This is NOT the first time where security has been less than adequate and at those times SS was funded.  With each assassination attempt there was a lack of securing the perimeter and making it impossible to even get near the president. That's there job!  Last night was no different.  There should have been adequate security to make sure that no one who didn't belong or invited wasn't able to enter the building.  You  mean to  tell  me that SS couldn't have staffed the entry ways??  SS should  have been protecting both the outside perimeter and interior of the building at the entrance to that event, especially  with both  the President  and VP both in attendance.

Funded or not, SS  FAILED again!  The attempt could have and should have been avoided.

I agree, but all of HSA is understaffed because of the Democrats.  Might be prudent to not have these big events while HSA remains unfunded.  Last night could have been a lot worse, next time will be.

Perhaps funding might have been an issue, but I feel that it's more of an issue with having a more competent and experienced SS staff.   Butler was a prime example.  The gal in front of the stage covering Trump wasn't even tall enough to cover him. That had nothing to do with $$.  It had to due with SS being insufficiently staffed and staffed with those without enough experience. During that incident IIRC SS was also at another venue.  Just sayin'.

At Butler, President Puddinhead was in charge of the SS.  Trump had lower priority than Jill Biden who was doing an event that day.  Trump had the "C" team of SS.  And that was in the good ol' days when HSA was rich enough to let Democrats loot millions from the Hurricane Relief funds.
