Very thankful to God that President Trump and the First Lady, Vice President Vance and the Second Lady are okay, as well as everyone else attending the dinner.

The only thing I’m certain of is that the times in which we live are creating a stream of threats that are unprecedented against President Trump and other government officials.

To the brave law enforcement officers who were there to protect, well done.

To the American people, let’s all pray for calmer waters and try to be part of the solution, not the problem.

Good.  The event should come to a close, everyone vacated, doors locked and grounds secured. 

Prayers up especially for our President and FLOTUS and VP Vance and 2nd Lady and others in attendance. 

I question the effectiveness and trustworthiness of the President's Secret Service.  For someone to get into an event where the President and VP are and fire shots is very troubling.

Hello from backstage.

We’re in a hold behind the stage right now. Staff are going out to reset the head table.

POTUS never left and is down the hall from me. He wants the show to go on.

We’re told by his detail someone tried to get through the mags with a gun. The counter assault team did their job (unclear what that means) and the subject is now offsite.

POTUS was evacuated to a hold - the rest of us from the head table are down the hall from him. Secret service had to determine if there were any other threats, we are being told there are no threats.

The building is NOT being evacuated.

We are waiting for staff to reset head table to resume the program.

Hello from backstage.

We’re in a hold behind the stage right now. Staff are going out to reset the head table.

POTUS never left and is down the hall from me. He wants the show to go on.

We’re told by his detail someone tried to get through the mags with a gun. The counter assault team did their job (unclear what that means) and the subject is now offsite.

POTUS was evacuated to a hold - the rest of us from the head table are down the hall from him. Secret service had to determine if there were any other threats, we are being told there are no threats.

The building is NOT being evacuated.

We are waiting for staff to reset head table to resume the program.
Kind of like going to a NASCAR event.  When there's a wreck they drag the injured person off and their car and the race must go on...

The shooter(s) reportedly got no farther than the metal detector before police responded. Conflicting reports as to whether one or two perps.
