Ilhan Omar is catching fresh heat back home after skipping a Minnesota legislative hearing probing possible ties to the state’s massive COVID-era fraud scandal.

State Rep. Kristin Robbins, a Republican who chairs the House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee, sent Omar a formal letter dated April 22 demanding answers and documents after the congresswoman failed to show up for a committee hearing she was invited to attend.

“Minnesotans and the Members of the House Fraud Prevention & State Oversight Committee were disappointed that you failed to appear before our committee to answer questions,” Robbins wrote in the letter, obtained by Fox News Digital. Robbins said Omar was invited to testify about the MEALS Act, a 2020 federal COVID relief measure Omar sponsored that expanded access to child nutrition funding.

Robbins’ letter says Omar’s office did not respond to the invitation and now requests a detailed paper trail anyway, including communications tied to Omar’s public push for expanded meal program access.

Robbins is asking Omar to produce emails, texts and meeting records involving the Minnesota Department of Education, constituents and outside groups connected to the child nutrition programs that later became central to the Feeding Our Future case.

The letter also zeroes in on Omar’s promotion of Safari Restaurant, a Minneapolis business later linked to the program. Robbins cited a Somali-language TV appearance in which Omar highlighted Safari Restaurant as a meal distribution site and demanded communications related to the video and the restaurant’s participation.

The California-based winery owned by Rep. Ilhan Omar's husband has folded, according to business records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. The move came nearly one year after the Minnesota Democrat filed a financial disclosure that listed the winery's value at up to $5 million—and roughly a week after Omar amended the disclosure to state that the winery had no value at all.

The winery, eStCru, filed for termination with the California secretary of state's office on April 4, records show. The form was signed by Omar's husband Tim Mynett's business partner, former DNC adviser Will Hailer.

It's a major fall from grace for the winery—at least on paper. Nearly one year ago, in May 2025, Omar filed an annual financial disclosure that said the winery was worth between $1 million and $5 million at the end of 2024. (Lawmakers report their assets in ranges rather than exact figures.) That marked an increase of at least 1,900 percent and as much as 32,233 percent from the previous year, when Omar said the winery was worth between $15,000 and $50,000.

It ought to be obvious by now that she isn't going to cooperate with ANYBODY, thinking that she can ignore them and win due to her status of being "untouchable" (race, religion, gender, etc.).

The only way she is going will be by "removal by force" -- agents putting their hands on her, and then the cuffs.

If no one is willing to do that -- and I'm not convinced that anyone will have the intestinal fortitude to do so -- she's off, scott-free.
