For reasons I cannot begin to explain, Trump is deadset and determined to snatch defeat from victory.
Everybody is telling Trump that Iran is making a fool out of him, and yet he continues undeterred.
"I will get a good deal." There should be NO deal at all. Iran should be on their knees groveling before us.

A negotiated diplomatic solution is NO solution to the religious intent of the Mullahs and the IRGC - they will still seek nukes by another avenue, they will still foment terror, they will still murder their own people.

And of course they will rearm & dig in, as they grow their missiles and drones deep under ground. When they have enough and the West is weak willed, wanting to make a deal, they will attack again.

47 has been snookered with a big beautiful deal, not understanding that no deal is any good with liars, cheaters, murderers, thugs backed by religious fervor - a concept that most Westerners and 47 either ignore or dismiss.

After the deal is announced, cheered, media obsessed, lauded, quietly in dark underground IRGC bunkers celebrations will be held, rituals performed, plans laid & drawn up for the next round; they survived the worst the Great Satan could throw at them. They are now a world power to be reckoned with, bowed to and lauded. Islam is on the March, storming one Western country after another - now with a very powerful backer: Iran - the Mad Mullahs and the IRGC.

Sick, broken-hearted does not begin to describe how this big beautiful deal by 47 feels.

Your history is a bit weak - Islam only goes back 1400 or so years, not 3000. Christianity goes back 2000 years, Judaism does apparently go back at least 3500 years

Trump has been warned by various people about the dangers of giving in to Iran -- I think he realizes it and brokering a deal with Iran is impossible.  I also tend to think that he knows he's going to have to put boots on the ground in order to win which weighs very heavily with him.  He doesn't have the support of the GOP nor the DEMS nor our allies.  One heck of a position to be in.

Kushner prodded him to go in.  Vance was reluctant.  Heck of a position to be in.

What has stalled President Trump from suddenly continuing to let all hell break loose on Iran, I have no idea.  That's what many of us question.

Lack of firepower from what I've read could be a possibility.  ???

What Trump doesn't quite seem to grasp, is that the islamic regime can agree to whatever terms he has, and they'll still abandon them the SECOND he is out of office.

The IRGC knows no other leader after Trump will ever enforce a deal.

No matter what kind of 'deal' Trump makes, Trump/U.S. will be viewed as weak and defeated by Iran and the entire Arab world.
He does not understand the culture. Just the very fact that Iran survived at all is seen as a "Great Victory!" for Iran and for Islam.
The fact that he came groveling to them to 'make a deal' is even more evidence that Iran defeated the Great Satan, in the Arab world.

Unless Trump finishes what he started, Trump will leave a legacy ten times worse than Carter and Obama combined.
Muslims will consider themselves to be unbeatable. They will look at the United States as weak and indecisive.

The tribal separation that became Islam started with Abraham and his brother. The tribe of Abraham's brother became the Muslims, the  tribe of Abraham was replaced by the Christians after the Jews lost Israel. The basic conflict goes back 3000 years.

Iran threatens to quit nuclear treaty, break 'naval blockade' in Strait of Hormuz: report

Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, said Sunday that managing the Strait of Hormuz was Tehran’s “legal right” to ensure national security, according to reports.

“Iran’s management of the Strait of Hormuz ends 50 years of insecurity in the Persian Gulf,” Iranian news agencies quoted Rezaei as saying, according to The Jersusalem Post.

Rezaei, who is subject to U.S. sanctions, also said that Iran has “strong reasons” for keeping control over the Strait, claiming Tehran’s objective is to prevent the Persian Gulf from becoming a center for military deployments and instability.

Rezaei's remarks were published Sunday by Mehr News Agency, a semi-official Iranian news outlet.

Meanwhile, Iran's official IRGC spokesperson Ibrahim Al-Fiqar warned if Hormuz was attacked, Tehran's forces would break the US blockade of Iranian ports.

At the same time, Al-Fiqar also threatened Iran leaving the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT)

"If the enemy attacks the Strait of Hormuz, we will break the naval blockade and may withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT)," he said Sunday in a post shared on X.

That is incorrect.  Abraham's brother, Haran, died.  Haran's son was Lot.  Lot's descendants became the Moabites and the Ammonites.  Both tribes have been wiped out.

It was Abraham's first son, Ishmael from whom the muslim Arabs descended.  Yet the Q'oran doesn't mention his name.  The Jews descended from Abraham's second son, Isaac.

Why hasn't U.S.-Iran deal been signed yet?

Senior Iran Analyst Dror Balazada reports the bone of contention between the terror regime and the U.S. is about 22 billion dollars, which the Iranians are demanding to receive immediately, while the Trump administration is insisting the Iranians hold up their end of the bargain first.

The Iranians have been given a "dream deal" which they are expected to accept, but are currently acting tough in the final stages of negotiations with President Trump.

The reason the Iranians are acting tough at the end for the $22 billion is because they have no intention of holding up their end.  And once they are handed the $22 billion, there is no take back.

Every dollar of that amount will go towards their nuclear program and rearming Hezbollah and Hamas.

I believe you are referring to Abraham's sons, Isaac and Ishmael. Ishmael was the son Abraham had by his bondwoman Hagar, and considered by many to be the progenitor of the Muslims. Isaac was Abraham's son by his wife, Sarah, and the progenitor of the Jews, including Jesus, and Christians later on were drawn from all who believed in Christ, regardless of lineage.
