What Cruz did to Carson was reported in the news.  I thought it was malicious at the time, and it cost Cruz.  After he did it, he was finished in the eyes of the electorate.  It is not rumor!
Yeah, it was all over ABCNNBCBS! So it must be true!
No matter, I'd rather have Cruz on SCOTUS.

And as others have stated on these boards, Rubio may not be eligible to run for POTUS.
I believe you are correct. He does not pass the Natural Born Citizen requirement.

In the past, that requirement has been abused by candidates.  I think it is long overdue for the Congress to withdraw from it's many decades of hibernation, stagnation, out right refusal to do their damn job and legislate that, and develop hardcore long lasting laws for immigration.
Immigration laws won't mean squat if they are not enforced. We have seen plenty of that already.

The citizenry of the US is getting damn tired of illegal invaders having a greater priority than the citizens.  They are tired of being displaced from high paying jobs for the benefit of lower cost foreign labor.  Congress is not worth having if they are not willing to protect the rights of American workers.

THIS BUSINESS OF CHEAP FOREIGN LABOR, USING H1-B VISAS AND OTHER METHODS MUST END.  I know many, mostly from India, here in the USA doing work that displaced US citizens.  Every system project I have been on in the last 20 years included a rather large contingent of foreign workers in China, India, or Ukraine, all receiving a fraction of the wages paid to workers here in the USA.  Projects funded with federal tax dollars, all that money going out to labor in foreign countries.  It must end!!!

The Republican that stands up and speaks to that particular issue will get my vote.  Dems would gladly send work overseas and pack the country with half the world's population, without a single care for the citizens of the USA.
Yep!

I NEVER watch those idiot networks.  It was on Fox News, it was on Newsmax, or perhaps OAN.  At the time, those were the ONLY networks I watched!

libertybele,

Sorry, I forgot about Sarah Sanders.  But hell no, she has disappeared into the woodwork, and I do not see her in the next two cycles for POTUS rising up to run for office.

And in regard to Rubio, for the Rubio lovers, he is 100% supportive of amnesty for all aliens in the USA.  And I say f*** that notion.  Anyone that favors that has no business in the Republican Party.  Rubio isn't just a RINO, he is a stinking Democommie wearing a Halloween costume.

And I voted twice for Reagan, thought he was a great POTUS.  He did do quite a few good things  in his day.  But he did some extremely bad things too.  He presided over the largest tax increase in history to that date in time with the changes in Social Security/Medicare.  Max rates for Social Security was $32,000 income if memory serves, and now it has indexed up to $184,000.  The rate was 6.2% and they added 1.45% for Medicare, which one pays on all income, no limit.

And the worst thing he did was sign the legislation that allowed Congress to STEAL MONEY from the Social Security Trust Fund.  PURE, UNADULTERATED THIEVERY, and he signed the legislation.  Unforgiveable!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That is why I never cared for Bob Dole, for his POTUS election self praise was "we solved the problem with Social Security", when in fact, they did not solve sh*t!!!!!

TAX MORE, SPEND MORE!!!  That is the ONLY thing the pukes in Washington know how to do.  Pathetic!  Every last one of them.  The time is long overdue to set a real goal of reducing the national debt.  And the time has come to phase in INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTS FOR RETIREMENT, WHERE PEOPLE HAVE THE FREEDOM TO POSITION THE MONEY IN THE MARKET FOR THEIR FUTURE AND NOT HAVE THAT MONEY AT THE FULL DISPOSAL OF THE THIEVES IN CONGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
