No Iran Deal - Everyone Left Pakistan
« on: April 12, 2026, 09:02:58 am »
Leave it to the Communist News Network to proclaim "Vance fails to make a deal."

It was Iran that refused to stop the additional strikes sure to come.

Thank you Jimmy Carter for installing the insane mullahs to power and for giving $5 billion to North Korea for its worthless promise to not build nuclear tipped missles.

Dim talking heads are likening JD's "Visit" to Pakiland to negotiate with I ran  to Kammie going to the boarder.  A failure!

I don't...  I chock that up to paying a high priced PR firm whose sole purpose in life was to prop up a failed legacy. Him latching on to that is why,   Despite popular belief, he didn't found the organization.  It goes back to the '60's.  And it doesn't exactly have a pristine history, including supporting the climate change scam, under the guise of he 501 (c) (3) tax protection.  No donationb $ should go towards that.,

To me, and I lived through his shit, is his legacy is 100% Iran and hyperinflation,.

Ditto! I was living approximately 300 miles from Tehran in 1979!

I was in Chicago listening to Steve Dahl and Garry Meier on WLS radio. Near the end of the Iranian Hostage crises in January 1981 the two jocks were musing on how much the hostages must miss American food, they decided to prank call Iran and try to send the hostages some buckets of Islamic Fried Chicken.

While a million Chicago-land listeners found it a hoot, the station later got a warning letter from the State Department.

It was comic gold!

I'll bet! Wasn't a damned bit funny where I was.

In 1978 while in College, we made state regional news (yep, I participated) by throwing a Birthday party for the Shah,  Man were the Iranian students pissed.  One of my cohorts confronted the Iranians, and told them, if they didn't shut up, we'd extend the party 2 weeks and call it Shahdigras

Locally.... Habitat does incredible work.  I've volunteered with them for 30 years, we've built 100's of houses.  I've also been on their board for years.  Like him or not, Carter did at least this one good thing.

Good job, I commend your service and Carter's.They do good work,   Just realize that Carter's motives were not 100% honorable.

And good to hear that your are in a leadership role.  Maybe you can do something, or at least speak out about their climate change advocacy,

May he (Jimmy Carter) burn in hell forever!

I agree.  Complimenting Carter for anything good, however trivial by comparison, is like complimenting the BTK (Bind Torture Kill) murderer for being a leader in his church.  Total lack of perspective. Hitler was nice to his friends.
