Asteroids could be boosted to the moon and allowed to hit it, then mined. Can't do that on Earth.
There is also a theory I saw on You Tube some years ago that it could be possible to somewhat
land an asteroid on the moon. I did not understand the math involved but the idea was an asteroid moving with the moon and not in its orbit could be dropped onto the moon with a minimal impact making it easier to recover materials from it.
