Oh, so that's why he resigned when he did... most likely Kent got wind of the investigation, and by resigning he could portray himself as a principled, "anti-this-war" official, and at the same time give the media an excuse to proclaim that the FBI investigation is retaliatory. It's not of course, he's most likely a lying leftist who leaked, but that's how the media will spin it.
