Six reported Bigfoot sightings in northeast Ohio within four days spark cryptid 'flap' speculation

A series of social media posts from a cryptid-focused podcast has ignited speculation about widespread Bigfoot sightings in northeast Ohio, with enthusiasts pointing to what they describe as a concentrated burst of activity.

The Bigfoot Society, a podcast and online community dedicated to collecting eyewitness accounts of Sasquatch encounters, says it had received six separate reports between March 6 and March 10 in wooded areas near Mantua and Garrettsville, southeast of Cleveland.

The group has described the cluster as a possible "flap," a term used in cryptozoology for multiple sightings within a short time span.

"It’s normal for there to be Bigfoot sightings all over the United States, but it’s not normal to have multiple sightings in a small area within a short number of days," Jeremiah Byron, host of the Bigfoot Society Podcast, told Fox 8.............

Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Someone leave an iPhone out there so a Bigfoot can take a selfie.  I'm getting tired of blurry photos that look like they were taken with a pinhole camera strapped to a cocaine bear.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Millions of game cameras, trail cameras, security cams, cell phones, etc.  Seems like there is one on every tree. And… nothing.

Twice in my life I have had my hand in an unmistakable print. When you can tell me what else might have left it there, I might join you.

For now, I'll believe my own lying eyes.

I am willing to consider that there might actually be something out there.

My skepticism arises from the fact that we have satellites that can read a license plate from 200 miles in space, we have cell phones and tens of millions of active cameras everywhere on the planet, and yet... the best "Bigfoot" pictures available look like they were taken by an 1850's Daguerrotype camera with a vaseline-smeared lens.
"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

*shrugs* Out in the middle of nowhere, you see something, and you have about 5 seconds to haul out your phone and get a steady pic... And you're shakin like a dog shittin peach pits... Fear, buck fever, whatever... I can see why the pics ain't so great.

And btw, it ain't been but lately that its was worth hauling a phone out into the sticks. There ain't no service around here off the valley floor. 10 miles off the highway you're SOL.

Anyhow, none of that matters to me. If you can tell me what else might have made those trackways, I might change my mind.  :seeya:

I have camped. I have lived in the boonies. I spent my early years gulping cheap wine out at the farm.  I have danced naked in the moonlight with The Doors music playing out of my Trans Am.  I saw the negroes in the forest, brightly feathered,  But I never saw no Bigfoot.
