Up to a century in prison was on the table after a federal indictment was returned for an Oklahoma man accused of threatening the president and attempting to murder federal officers.
Last month, the culmination of an investigation into comments posted on YouTube led to a standoff between 30-year-old Taylor Prigmore and the FBI. Last week, a federal grand jury returned the indictment charging him with both his alleged attempt on the lives of federal law enforcement agents and for threats against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in addition to being called out for threatening President Donald Trump.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma issued a press release regarding the indictment, which detailed some of the YouTube comments attributed to the suspect from May 2025 through January 2026.
“Our president needs to die to save lives,” he was alleged to have commented on one video, while a lengthy screed had read, “If you aren’t willing to die and kill for your cause, you will lose. There is a chance that man is never seen again. Buy a gun. — ICE agents. Not a joke. Not a game. — them. I’m done. I’ll — any cops that show up to my house. I’ll — as many as possible and then — myself. All of you should do the same Buy a gun. This is life and death. They will never face accountability. You are not a good person just because there are things you are not willing to do. Remember how we won WWII. It was not bloodless.”
