The Democrats Just Picked the Worst Person to Give Their Response to the State of the Union 
Democrats have an eye set on 2028, but the biggest question plaguing them is this: who will be their nominee? We know Gavin Newsom is running, and it's likely Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is, too. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was one of the names being floated, but her embarrassing performance in Munich may have caused her ambitions to explode on the launch pad. Kamala Harris has rebranded herself — yet again — leading to speculation that she may make another bid for the White House, too.
 

But Democrats haven't picked any of them to give their party's response to President Trump's State of the Union. Instead, they've chosen Virginia's Democratic Governor Abigail Spanberger.

Not really.  The leading democrat candidates for POTUS have already displayed they are inept so getting them out of the way was a good move.  I think, though, Whoopi Goldberg would have been a better choice. :whistle:

She's done so well so far for the state of VA and all the new taxes  *****rollingeyes***** .... I don't care to listen to her rebuttal, but I'm sure the liberal  news outlets will paint it as a great one.

Tryout for 2028.  She only has a single term as governor and she's out.  The only other options are senate and president for her, and Warner and Kaine ain't going anywhere (unfortunately).

I'll bet the MSM and democrats are working like little beavers together to come up with appropriate praise, the best superlatives, and best pictures for her "speech" which I'm sure is written by the best speech writers in the democrat party.  They're probably field testing it already which is interesting since democrats will be in a counter protest for the actual speech. :whistle:

yeah, this choice shocked me - don't think the optics will be so good, just looking at her kind of freaks me out - that nose, that hair, that monotone voice... I'll never forget that black lady, Winsome Sears or something like that, trying to get her to answer a question and Abi standing there looking stupid. Of course, NVA went on to overwhelmingly vote for the ghoul.
