NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani Will Open New Centers to Kill Babies in Abortions

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced plans to open two new clinics that pro-life advocates say will facilitate the killing of unborn babies through abortions, under the guise of providing “reproductive care” to young people ages 16 to 25.
The clinics, named “Elevate You,” will be located at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull in North Brooklyn and NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens in Southeast Queens.
Backed by $4 million from MetroPlusHealth, the facilities will offer a range of services, including behavioral health care, primary care, and so-called reproductive care — which includes abortion.
Pro-life critics argue that embedding abortion services in youth-focused clinics prioritizes the destruction of unborn life over true support for mothers, families and alternatives to abortion. They view the move as part of Mamdani’s broader pro-abortion agenda, which includes vows to shut down pro-life pregnancy centers.
During his campaign, Mamdani vowed to “protect New Yorkers from” pro-life pregnancy centers, accusing them of spreading “false or deceptive information.”
His threats specifically target organizations like CompassCare, which operates the only three pro-life medical pregnancy centers in New York City.
