Putting boots, tanks, and APCs on the ground at the front has been proven to be a great way to lose all three. Ukraine's own drone forces have proven this, time and again. Now in not the time to revert to last-war tech over what is paving the path to victory. Sack General Cornpone and reinstate the former MoD or find/form a ministry of drone warfare and put him at the top of it.

Drones hasn't necessarily rendered armor useless, just emphasized the needs for armor to come with protection against drones.
