Still looking for the first Russian city to suffer anything even remotely similar to this.  Still waiting for the first mass grave to be located and dug up in Russia.  Still waiting to see the first hypersonic missile attack on a Russian school, hospital, or playground.  Or those FPV drone videos where Russian civilians are hunted down on the streets by drone operating sadists.  Watch four years of videos of average Russians talking about the 'Special Military Operation' [sic].  Every last one of them cheered this war on, stating that Ukrainians deserved to be wiped off the map.  Even the video above, from Tuapse in 2022.  Russians gathering in the street voicing their support of ridding the world of Ukrainian criminals, drug addicts, and nazis.  Yet now a few drones strike oil targets with the entire city left intact, and they somehow can't come to terms with why this is happening.  Innocents?  There is only one side here that is innocent.  And they currently have an invading army sitting on their soil committing atrocities against Ukrainian civilians day after day after day.

No, this isn't a 'both sides' situation.  Russia alone is the aggressor.  Russia alone is waging a war against a civilian population.  Russia alone is committing genocide.  And Russia alone can end this by withdrawing their troops from Ukraine.

And until that happens, Ukraine has two choices: 1) Continue to defend THEIR COUNTRY;  2) Cease to exist as a nation.

If the United States was faced with this choices, as an American, I know which choice I would make.

Yes the pictures are horrific. Of course Ukraine has the absolute right to defend their country.  I never insinuated otherwise. 

The attacks that Ukraine has experienced over decades has not just been from Russia.  Yes, I agree that Russia did escalate this existing conflict and that was Putin's decision.   However, there are Russian people as well as Ukrainian people that are suffering.

The overall number of estimated deaths in the war in Donbas from 6 April 2014 to 31 December 2021 was 14,200–14,400. This included about 6,500 pro-Russian separatist fighters, 4,400 Ukrainian fighters, and 3,404 civilians.   ...... in late August 2015, according to a reported leak by a Russian news site, Business Life (Delovaya Zhizn), 2,000 Russian soldiers had been killed in Ukraine by 1 February 2015

Again, I pray for the innocents on both sides. Both Russia and Ukraine have suffered mass casualties.

As for waiting for pictures of a Russian city that has been damaged or destroyed by Ukraine -- none to post.  I did a Google search and after inputing  'Russia' it changes it to 'Ukraine'. I find it interesting that with all the drones and bombings from Ukraine on Russia, that no damage has been done to Russia.

Again, yes Russia is the aggressor who started this particular conflict. Yes, Ukraine has the absolute right to defend itself. 

From my understanding Putin wants Ukraine to give up territory in order for this conflict to end. Putin feels entitled I suppose?

Putin needs to be stopped.  How?  By whom?   

So again, I pray that the conflict ends,  period.
