She backs up briefly and then pulls forward, with the agent only partially in her way, off to the driver side, but still potentially in danger - and that might be the key. 

The officer pulls his service weapon and fires one shot through the windshield, driver side, and then two follow-up rounds.

It appears that the driver's intention may have been to continue turning down the road, potentially to get away... but there's no way to be certain, and the officer, with a fraction of a second to decide, did not take that risk.

The left is going to attempt to make this dead protestor their new George Floyd but the facts are:

• There was an agent in front of her car

• She accelerated into the agent

• The agent shot her in self defense

• ICE had no way to know if she was armed but it doesn’t matter if she was because her car is by law, a deadly weapon when used like this

An officer facing a massive deadly weapon that’s accelerating into them is trained to shoot in self defense. That’s reality.

The villain here is Democrat politicians who’ve whipped these protestors into a rage where they believe they can act like this. You can’t.

Protest, sure, that’s fine and legal but you can’t impede law enforcement and you certainly can’t try to run them over with your car.

...Frey just said again that it "is not true" that this was done in self-defense because the woman was driving away from the officers...

...I have seen a couple videos online. One shows an officer in front of the vehicle as it pulled away from another officer.  It was moving away from the officers who approached it but towards an officer in front. The officer in front appears to fire one shot at close range. We have to verify the authenticity of these videos and better understand the circumstances with the investigation...

...An officer is allowed to use lethal force if a vehicle is being used as a weapon to run them over. That is why it would be more reasonable for Frey and others to allow initial investigations to be completed before declaring that ICE murdered a citizen.

...What I would like to see if the body cam footage of the officer in front as well as any videos from the front of the vehicle. These reviews turn on the level of threat posed by the vehicle judging the distance from any officer in front etc.

That woman was deceased BEFORE the crash...you can plainly hear the engine race because of her foot on the accelerator.  Her vehicle was pushing TWO others before an officer moved her foot or shut it down.

I'm not sure, but it appeared like she was purposely blocking ICE vehicles on the roadway with her car and that's why she was confronted. She refused to obey a lawful order and then started to drive into an officer with his weapon drawn that was directly in front of her. It then appears she made physical contact with the officer in front of her using her car and was then shot.
