I just read that the judge handling the Madero case is extremely anti Trump. Has ruled against him previously.

This is about a refusal to honor an election by Maduro and Drug trafficking, more than Trump. Of course, there will be splatters of TDS all over the case.

The possibility exists Trump doesn't really care if Maduro is found Guilty or not.  Maybe he just wanted to shake the jar of ants up..
