Well, they aren't your children anyway. They belong to the state - which really doesn't want homeschooling.

Some of the text of the bill:

Quote
This bill requires a child in a home education program and the child’s parent or guardian to meet annually with a person from the resident school district who has been designated by the school district superintendent.  The person designated by the superintendent is to be a school counselor, school nurse, or school social worker employed by the district.  The bill provides that there is a twofold purpose for the meeting: to provide the parent or guardian an opportunity to request support from the school district for the home education program; and to provide the person designated by the superintendent an opportunity to conduct a general health and wellness check of the child.

Two Newly Introduced New Jersey Bills Place Sweeping, Invasive Oversight on Homeschooling Families

Two newly introduced bills in New Jersey—A5825 and A5796—place sweeping, invasive oversight on homeschooling families. These bills assume guilt, violate parental autonomy, and rewrite the public perception of independent education.

WHY: We Believe in Education Independence

We believe that children belong to their parents, not the state. Education is a sacred, parent-led pursuit that should be free from government interference. Independent education is essential for cultivating truth, virtue, and a flourishing society.

Why that’s compromised:  Bills A5825 and A5796 treat homeschooling families with suspicion, requiring state oversight, forced registration, and mandatory in-person “general health and wellness checks.” These policies invert the presumption of innocence and undermine the foundational trust and autonomy of families.   ...

This will go badly for parents.

I will NOT comply.

Who else thinks this will include mandatory vaccinations for all sorts of supposed diseases?

Since the Libs lost control of CDC, they will do their dirty work via state control.

Parents that live there and care of their kids should take proper note.
