Nick Shirley’s 42-minute YouTube video on daycare fraud in Minnesota is shocking not just because of the scale of abuse he uncovered in a day. It’s shocking because it took a young kid to expose this years-long scheme. Where was the mainstream media all this time?

In the must-see video, Shirley teams up with a citizen investigator and goes door-to-door visiting various “daycare” facilities in Minneapolis that pocketed millions in taxpayer money through a Child Care Assistance Program.

The first two “daycare centers” are both located at the same address in an industrial park, which combined got some $5 million in taxpayer support over the past five years. Another, located a block away, got $3 million. None were open.

Another was the “Quality Learing Center” – which misspelled “learning” in its sign. Like the others, it was closed, but outside of it was a woman who kept shouting “don’t open up!” and “go away!” and “shame on you!” and “ICE!”

None of the places the pair visited showed any signs of having any children under its care. They went to an autism center with the same result, and two buildings that supposedly housed dozens of health care companies, all of which looked like obvious fronts.

Yet somehow, these blatantly fraudulent businesses were able to collect more than $100 million in a few short years.

The Gateway Pundit reported on journalist Nick Shirley’s shocking report exposing millions of dollars of fraud involving Somali daycare centers in Minnesota.

Rather than address the fleecing of taxpayers in his state, Governor Tim Walz attacked Shirley instead, calling him a “White supremacist” for daring to expose the fraud.

Shirley shared clips of his investigation, including footage of the door being slammed in his face while he asked a Minnesota Childcare Center that claims to care for 102 children, which appeared empty.

Shirley released the full 42-minute video of his investigation noting, “We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire! Its time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable.”

GOP Whip Tom Emmer lashed out at Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on X and demanded answers asking, “4 million dollars of hard-earned tax dollars going to an education center that can’t even spell learning correctly. Care to explain this one, Tim Walz?”

Walz has responded to the fraud by attacking Shirley.

1. Organizers of the scheme
2. Families who participated in the fraud and/or got kickbacks
3. Govt officials who permitted it to happen, or perhaps even facilitated it
4. Those who ultimately got the money such as overseas companies/people and Democrat politicians who got donations

It may even be that federal officials need to be scrutinized for not following the law to ensure taxpayer money was beneficially spent when passed along to states to administer.

Who knows, maybe Joe and Hunter got 10% for their efforts to fund the fraud?

Minnesota does not have "Stand your ground" laws. They have been proposed, but failed to pass. As for deadly force, they do have a castle doctrine law, but that would require entry against the expressed wishes of the persons present.

If they don't go in the door, do not pass the plane of the door frame, it does not apply (sidewalks and parking lots being more or less public spaces.)

If they go brandishing AKs or even just pistols, their threat of lethal force may even be a crime, so long as no one is physically trying to gain entry against their will.

Okay. I'm convinced.

The complainant was determined to make it a racist/islamophobe thing and ignored the Fraud, because, well, it is indefensible, appears networked, and so far has been a Somali thing there.

Doubtless, there are others committing fraud elsewhere, but the Somalis in Minneapolis have been exposed first.

I really don't care what color, religion, sexuality, etc. anyone who has been ripping us all off is. Try them, if convicted, hang them all in the public square.
