New South Wales police intercept cars en route to Bondi Beach, detain seven to stop ‘violent act'
The men were en route to Bondi Beach, but police noted that they had not yet connected the arrests to Sunday's terrorist attack.

Two vehicles were intercepted in southern Sydney on Thursday in connection with a planned violent act, with New South Wales Police noting that at this point no connection to the Bondi Beach massacre was identified.

Seven men were detained by police in Liverpool, acting on a tip about a violent act being planned. No official arrests were announced, but the Australian Broadcasting Corporation shared photographs of men zip-tied and overseen by armed officers in tactical gear.
 
Bondi Ties unconfirmed by police
Sky News and other local outlets reported that the men were on their way from Victoria to Bondi Beach, but police said that they had not yet connected the investigation to the Sunday terrorist attack on a Hanukkah party.

The seven have already been released due to lack of evidence.  They cannot be held until they actually kill some Jews.

Sydney terrorists were inspired by ISIS, police say
Senior foreign affairs correspondent Greg Palkot joins 'America's Newsroom' to discuss newly reported details surrounding the two terrorists that killed 15 victims in Bondi Beach, Australia.

The terror attack in Australia has renewed urgent warnings from intelligence officials and counterterrorism experts that global jihadist networks are intensifying their reach, even as Western governments continue to frame groups like ISIS as weakened or in retreat.

Bill Roggio, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and one of the longest-running trackers of jihadist movements, said the Australia attack highlights a persistent miscalculation in Western capitals.

"We’ve always been quick to declare terrorist organizations defeated and insignificant, and that couldn’t be further from the truth," Roggio told Fox News Digital.


Roggio, who is also managing editor of The Long War Journal, said ISIS remains far from dismantled despite the collapse of its territorial "caliphate."

Islamic terrorism, as everyone knows, has nothing to do with Islam. Not a thing. Apart from the name, the motivation and the entire purpose of the exercise. Still our governments and ‘leading experts’ insist that the two are completely unrelated.

Australian Federal Police Commissioner Krissy Barrett (above) has faced criticism for saying the Bondi Beach terrorist attack was “not motivated by religion”.

Commissioner Barrett had stated in the aftermath of the December 14 attack that the alleged terrorists were “inspired by Islamic State”.

“These are the alleged actions of those have aligned themselves to a terrorist organisation – not a religion,” she said.

The ‘terrorist organization’ being the Islamic State whose purpose is to make a state completely ruled by Islam. Hence the name.
