LIBRARIES: Disgraced former president Biden has failed to raise the money needed for a presidential library after torching relationships with even his most loyal donors when he was forced out of the 2024 race. The New York Times reports he has raised only a fraction of what is required, a fitting end to a failed presidency. Meanwhile President Trump has secured land, major donations & $63 million in legal settlement funds as he moves steadily toward his $1 billion library plan.

Biden Has Raised Little of What He Needs to Build a Presidential Library
His library foundation has told the I.R.S. that by the end of 2027 it expects to bring in just $11.3 million — not nearly enough for a traditional presidential library.

Former President Joseph R. Biden Jr. has raised only a small fraction of the money needed to construct a presidential library, leaving uncertainty about when a library might be built and its viability as a stand-alone project, according to public filings and interviews with his donors.

In filings with the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Biden’s library foundation revealed that it had not received any new donations in 2024, the final year of his presidency. The foundation was instead seeded entirely with $4 million left over from his 2021 inauguration.

The library foundation declined to say what it had raised in 2025. It said that Mr. Biden was only now beginning to actively raise money. He is holding the first event for potential library donors on Monday in Washington’s Georgetown neighborhood.

Still, Mr. Biden’s foundation told the I.R.S. this year that it expected to bring in just $11.3 million, total, by the end of 2027. That would be far below the pace set by other recent presidents, and far less than the $200 million that Mr. Biden’s aides say they want to raise eventually. ...

Maybe they should put his library  in a bus.  Like a book mobile.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Or on an Amtrak train. Maybe just a basket by the toilet - a couple of copies of Readers Digest and the Biden presidential papers would be just right.

It would have to be big enough to house the world's largest collection of (slightly used) coloring books.

You know - that's not a bad thought at all.

In the toilet, hanging by a string through a punch hole like the old Sears Roebuck catalog to be used whenever the the paper ran out.

"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge
