Vance: Afghan Suspect Proves Immigration Warnings Correct
By Jim Thomas    |   Wednesday, 26 November 2025 10:23 PM EST

Vice President JD Vance said Wednesday that the Washington, D.C., shooting of two West Virginia National Guard members by an Afghan immigrant has validated his prior warnings about unvetted refugee resettlement.

The shooting occurred Wednesday afternoon just blocks from the White House in a brazen act of violence that the mayor described as a targeted attack.

FBI Director Kash Patel and Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser said the Guard members were hospitalized in critical condition.

A suspect who was in custody also was shot and had wounds that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to a law enforcement official who was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke to AP on condition of anonymity.

The suspect was identified as Rahmanullah Lakamal.

By means of shrewd lies, unremittingly repeated, it is possible to make people believe that heaven is hell - and hell heaven. The greater the lie, the more readily it will be believed.

The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.

With all due respect, Mr. Vance, it took you long enough.

I was complaining about nonwhite immigration 30+ years ago (on other forums).

The United States had "the right" immigration policies from about 1926 until 1965. During that period, immigration was by law limited to almost exclusively whites.

Once that was changed, the country started its slide downhill.
We're still slidin' ...
And there's no "bottom" in sight.
