Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson's comments rejecting federal assistance to prevent crime, during a press conference on September 16, received new attention after another high-profile violent crime committed by someone with more than 70 prior arrests.

He does not believe his oath of office includes protecting his constituents.

Mayor Johnson translated: If you are unable to afford an armed private security detail in Chicago, run away as fast as you can because open season has just been declared on you.

Are there any corporations left that still have headquarters in Chicago, because this will be the last straw.
