A Florida man allegedly fired a handgun at several people following an argument about how many eggs chickens can lay.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department said in a media release sent to Newsweek that 44-year-old Peter Riera was taken into custody on multiple charges after firing shots at three people outside Harper’s Pub in Port St. Lucie on Tuesday. None were hit by the bullets.
 
“I can confirm that an argument between the 3 victims and the Mr. Riera stemmed from a conversation about how many eggs a chicken can lay as Mr. Riera claimed to be a farmer who raised chickens.,” Port St. Lucie Police Master Sergeant and Public Information Officer Dominick Mesiti told Newsweek.

Answer: About one a day in their prime in late-Spring to early-Fall ... Egg production usually drops in Wintertime (unless in controlled environments with artificial lighting)...

Ducks, about one every other day (sometimes more frequent)...

My parents had friends that owned an egg ranch and used to visit when I was a little kid, it was to me, disgusting. It was smelly, especially all the chicken sh*t, also seeing all the chickens he was ‘rejuvenating’ by plucking out most of their feathers was disquieting😱
