Antifa’s First Terrorism Indictment

Democrats tell us that Antifa doesn’t really exist. It is just an idea–an idea that distributes AR-15s and organizes attacks on federal law enforcement. President Trump has designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization; I don’t know what legal effect that has, but the Department of Justice responded quickly, bringing the first terrorism prosecution against that detestable group.

The prosecution arises out of an armed attack on an ICE facility in Texas, in which at least 11 Antifa members participated. You can read the indictment here. These are some of the allegations of the indictment, in which only two of the Antifa members are charged:

There are seven counts against these Antifa criminals, most of which are different ways of saying attempted murder. But Count One is Providing Material Support to Terrorists.

I don’t know why this case only implicates two defendants, or what the Department of Justice has planned for the other criminals involved in this attack, most of whom have been caught. I hope that this prosecution, and others that follow, will be used to investigate Antifa and learn who funds and controls the organization.

Antifa is the militant arm of the Democratic Party, much as the Ku Klux Klan was the militant arm of the Democratic Party in the years following the Civil War. I think that a thorough investigation of Antifa’s finances would lead–perhaps through a tortuous path–to the Democratic Party, and some of that party’s principal supporters.
