MeganC by her self description sounds like a traditional American woman, and there just aren't many of them left. Today's women have but one focus, money. That is my experience. All my wife cares about is amassing money she will most likely never spend, and when she dies, she will pass it to a daughter that really does not like her.
My first wife, she had psych issues that I closed my eyes to when we were dating and even through the first X number of years of our marriage. I was a sperm bank and a financial bank. Once she got what she wanted, three kids, I was merely a bank. She did not want 1, 2, 4 or 10 kids. She wanted three, in case one died, there would be two to go through life together. This unilateral life decision was predicated on her having one sibling, and his dying when he was 15, she was 12, leaving a permanent scar on her and both parents. Every important decision she made in life was tied back to her sibling's early death. She ended our relationship when she got her 3rd child.
She has been dead for almost 15 years, and I am still paying for that mistake!!! It is the albatross that keeps on giving. Her and her mother successfully poisoned the minds of my three children, I will never have a relationship with any of them. And the current wife, she did not want any more children after her 1st child with her prior husband.
So, the only dream I ever had, which is much like that of MeganC, which was to have a family to share life with, I have none of that. So, if the genie ever appeared before me, I would want to go back and live my life over, knowing of course what I know now!!! LOL!!!
One last thought, you can't blame women for how they are today in our society. It is not their fault alone. Men have been castrated in our society, and have little power to change it. For this, I blame 100% the stinking lawyers that control every branch of government, and have managed to destroy the extended family, the nuclear family, the role of the father in the household, and western civilization with their dishonesty, their fat headed belief they know what is best in all facets of life, which is no where near reality. They have destroyed more families with their policies they have created, creating a society where men are not in the household, the stinking lawyers created all that policy. And they never take ownership for all the damage they wrought upon society. NEVER!!!!!!!
That is why I seldom vote for anyone with a law degree. I have worked with too many people that have law degrees, always elevated to high management positions because of the degree, and not a one of them had a clue about anything. Half of them could not write a decent contract. Ugggh!
Plus, Washington has destroyed our society for both the blue and white collar workers, pampering to rich billionaires and sh*ting on those that work for a living. For 30 years, American workers have either lost their jobs or had their wages frozen due to one thing, the influx of illegals to take the blue collar jobs for a fraction of what Americans would get compensated, and the use of the H1-b Visa Program which obliterated 1.6 million American white collar careers. And that number does not include the jobs exported to China, India and Ukraine, which I suspect is in the millions.
And it will get worse quickly. Trump's action on levying a $100,000 fee for future H1-b Visa recipients will result in ALL TECH WHITE COLLAR JOBS being exported to the above three countries, causing millions more of Americans to lose their jobs. And if it isn't the export of the white collar jobs destroying the future of Americans, it will be AI that will eliminate humans by 60% of the existing positions in the workforce in the USA within the next 10 years.
YES, ALL OF YOU HERE, YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN WILL BE RENDERED UNEMPLOYED, AND NO ONE IN WASHINGTON GIVES A SH*T, ALL ARE EXPENDABLE!!!!!
