Rising outrage by families of 9/11 victims and FBI agents involved in the original World Trade Center bombing investigation, along with attacks from political rivals and questions from the one or two media outlets not in the tank for his campaign, forced Zohran Mamdani to answer why he had campaigned at the Al-Taqwa Mosque, which had been under NYPD surveillance, and tweeted a photo of himself with Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted coconspirator in the World Trade Center bombing.



And Mamdani’s response was accusing critics of ‘Islamophobia’.

“The same imam met with Mayor Bloomberg, met with Mayor De Blasio, campaigned alongside Eric Adams, and the only time it became an issue of national attention was when I met with him,” Mamdani told reporters. “That’s because of the fact of my faith.”

There was outrage when Bloomberg met with Wahhaj followed by an apology. And Bloomberg’s claim that he didn’t know who Wahhaj was.

Accusing someone of a "phobia" is the lefts favorite excuse and the media's easiest to write about since they have so many excuses in their literary archives to draw from.

Once again, the most recent polling from New York (courtesy of realclearpolling.com) shows why even if Curtis were to drop out of the race now, zombie-mammi wlll still win.

First off - ignore the "RCP Average", and look at the most recently-release poll results:

As recently as Oct. 26/27, zombie-mammi was around 43-44%.
Only a day or two later, he has risen to 47-48% (and one poll shows him hitting 50).

At the same time, cuomo's polls have dropped from 32-33% (Oct 26-27) down to 32-21% (one poll shows him down to 25).

Curtis has even picked up a point or two.

Looks like the good denizens of New York City are going to get what they vote for.

Not every muslim espouses those things; they are generally espoused by certain sects within islam, which generally tend to be fellow travelers with the Iranian sects.
