If this doesn’t scream insurrection, I don’t know what does—the radical left’s hatred for law and order has reached new lows in Chicago, where Democrat thugs ambushed federal agents, and local cops were ordered to stand down. On Friday, October 4, 2025, in Broadview, Illinois—a Chicago suburb—DHS officers on routine patrol were rammed and boxed in by 10 vehicles, including one driven by an armed woman who’d posted online threats to “bleep up” ICE agents. Flagged in a CBP intel bulletin for doxing and inciting violence, she forced the agents to fire defensive shots, wounding her. Miraculously, no feds were seriously hurt, but the real shocker? Chicago PD, under Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s thumb, refused to assist, abandoning the scene as a hostile crowd swelled.

One of the highest-ranking officers in the Chicago Police Department barred city cops from responding to calls for help from federal agents who reported being surrounded by a large crowd in Brighton Park on Saturday, according to CPD radio transmissions.

CPD Chief of Patrol Jon Hein ordered city officers to leave the area as tensions escalated following the shooting of a woman by Border Patrol agents, supervisors said in recorded radio traffic.  ...

“Just to confirm,” a dispatcher asked, “they were saying that they were being surrounded by that large crowd and they were requesting the police and we’re not sending?”

“Again, those are the orders we’re being given,” the supervisor replied.

Saturday’s shooting marked at least the second time this week that CPD supervisors directed officers to avoid federal enforcement actions involving ICE. On Wednesday, after Border Patrol agents detained a man at the scene of a West Side traffic crash, CPD officers initially responded but were later told to steer clear.  ...

Whatever the Democrats are screaming that Republicans are doing they are actually doing in the extreme.

The capital riot for a day was an "insurrection" while they've been doing an actual insurrection via Antifa/BLM in cities for years which is now escalating to blue state governments openly defying federal law.

Sounds like federal marshals -- backed up with a healthy number of federal troops -- need to march into wherever Chief hein is sitting, and march him right out of there, to face federal charges...

And no dallying on this.

Cut off Chicago and Illinois from any and all funding from the Federal Government  Move Government work/workers out of Illinois

If the state of Illinois and the City of Chicago don't want to abide by our Federalist Consitutional system of Federal Government, they shouldn't benefit from it.

An internal dispatch revealed Chicago police officers were ordered by their chief of patrol not to respond after Border Patrol agents called for help, saying they were boxed in and surrounded following a ramming incident outside Chicago, multiple federal and Chicago law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox News.
 
Fox News reviewed the computer-aided dispatch message sent to Chicago police officers by their chief of patrol. The message instructed officers not to respond to a Saturday morning ramming incident outside the city in which an armed woman was shot and agents were boxed in and surrounded.

"PLEASE CHIEF OF PATROL NO UNITS WILL RESPOND TO THIS AS RELATED FROM 04-Oc5-2025/12:34:44…CALLER IS 1 OF APPROX 30 ARMED PATROL AGENTS (ICE) WHO ARE BEING SURROUNDED BY A LARGE CROWD OF PEOPLE REQUESTING CPD," the dispatch message read.

On Saturday morning, federal agents were rammed and trapped by 10 vehicles in the suburb of Broadview, where anti-ICE crowds had gathered for days. Nearly a dozen people were arrested.
