Hamas is Iran's finger on the trigger to destroy Israel and exterminate Jews.

Iranian regime also believes Arabs to be racially inferior to Iranic peoples.

True. Iranians, aka Persians, are Caucasians, while Arabs are Semitic.

Why should Hamas get better surrender terms than the Nazi's?  Unconditional surrender, or complete elimination.

Do you really think Hamas is going to sign some kind of agreement and keep it?  That's not reality.

Speaking of reality @libertybele ---- can't the same be said of Israel who bombed the very negotiations they were in favor of to stop them and then went on to change the new proposal (they were also in favor of) after it was given to the Arab coalition by the POTUS?  ....

Quote
But while the Arab states left New York, Netanyahu stayed in New York, holding two lengthy weekend meetings with Witkoff. After Israel’s attack on Hamas negotiators in Qatar on 9 September – a personal betrayal of Witkoff and Qatar – Netanyahu was persona non grata in the White House. Yet the Israeli prime minister extracted further concessions.

The amnesty to Hamas members was only available to those who handed over weapons in front of international observers and committed to peaceful coexistence. More detail was added about the destruction of Hamas infrastructure. Moreover, the withdrawal of Israel Defense Forces was blurred, and by the end the IDF would have to withdraw only to a security buffer zone encompassing more than 17% of Gaza until the strip “is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat”.

The process for this withdrawal “will be carried out according to criteria, and with a timeframe, to be agreed upon between the IDF, the international stabilisation force, the guarantors and the United States”.

After the plan’s publication, Netanyahu in a video message assured his domestic audience that Israel’s red lines were protected: Gaza separated from the West Bank, no return by the PA to Gaza, no path toward a “two-state solution” and no removal of Israel security forces from the majority of the Gaza Strip.

8n trying to assuage the extremists in his coalition, Netanyahu was also doing all he could to persuade Hamas to reject the plan, so he could pursue the military offensive into Gaza City.

Nope.  Hostages were supposed to be returned.  That never happened.  That's one of the negotiations Hamas FAILED on.  Israel had every right to proceed.

Israel has had their chance before ... I keep wondering why the wait, other than they will be judged by the rest of the world; which is nothing new though.

Do I want to see more war and bloodshed and inhalation of an entire population?  No.  However, Hamas will never ever surrender and will continue to wreak havoc on people as they see fit.  It is troubling and they must be stopped.

Well, it virtually guarantees the demise of any remaining prisoner/hostage in and around Gaza.

And as you implied, the world is judging Israel's acts.  For example, "...what's your hurry, Israel?"
Why throw away poor, Israeli and foreign Jews' lives when Hamas likely would have capitulated eventually?"

The moment Israel's negotiators took a seat at the table in Egypt, the hostage release deadline was erased.  By showing up, Israel weakened its bravado position.

🚨Update: NO DEAL!! Hamas has refused to disarm and is demanding an end to the war and full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip BEFORE releasing any hostages! Hamas also wants to maintain control of the Gaza Strip after the end of the War. Trump’s peace deal has fallen apart. Trump doesn’t understand this is a spiritual war, not a physical one!!

8:46 PM · Oct 7, 2025  ·  12.8K Views

Is there any part of this deal that Hamas has agreed to?  Anything?  Any one of the 20 points?

(Those questions are rhetorical.  We already knew the answers the moment Trump announced it.)

Hamas has chosen war.  And war they will get.

Release of hostages has never been off the table @Right_in_Virginia   Deadline?  What about the first negotiated deadline to release the hostages??

As best I understand it @libertybele both sides have to agree before the deadline is triggered --- and since the negotiations are still ongoing, no agreement has been reached so no deadline has (yet) been missed.

What we covered

• Negotiations to finalize a deal based on President Donald Trump’s Gaza ceasefire plan are underway in Egypt, and a source with knowledge of the talks told CNN that Israel and Hamas have made “progress” during the first two days of negotiations.

• US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to depart for Egypt today and arrive on Wednesday. Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer as well as the Qatari prime minister are likely to join the ceasefire talks then as well.

• Hundreds of people have been gathering in southern Israel to mark two years since Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7, when 1,200 people were killed and more than 250 others were taken hostage.

Qatar seeks ‘strong, written international guarantees’ Israel won’t resume Gaza war
Times of Israel, Oct 8, 2025

Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari tells Saudi news outlet Al-Arabiya that “strong, written international guarantees” are required to ensure Israel carries out its obligations.

He says Qatar wants to ensure that what is currently being negotiated in Egypt — the return of hostages, release of Palestinian security prisoners, and a pause in fighting— will lead to Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza, the entry of more aid, and a permanent end to the war.

Al-Ansari notes that the Trump plan now being discussed explicitly rules out the displacement of residents from Gaza, as well as an end to talk of annexation and occupation.

He says that the parties have agreed on 20 principles but “the devil is in the details, as they say in English.”

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Thani is expected in Egypt today to join the ongoing, indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas.

Egyptian FM says more Arab states will make peace with Israel if Gaza war ends
Times of Israel, Oct 8, 2025

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty tells the Saudi channel Al-Arabiya that “additional Arab countries will sign peace agreements with Israel if the war in Gaza comes to an end.”

He adds that the main guarantor for the success of the talks in Egypt is US President Donald Trump himself.

He also says that the current talks in Sharm el-Sheikh are focused on the first stage of the US plan: ending the war, bringing in aid, returning the hostages, and releasing Palestinian security prisoners.

Hamas demanding bodies of Yahya, Muhammad Sinwar – WSJ report
Times of Israel, Oct 8, 2025

Hamas is demanding the bodies of its slain leaders Yahya and Muhammad Sinwar be among those released by Israel, alongside living terror convicts and detainees, in exchange for the 48 hostages held by terror groups in Gaza, according to a Wall Street Journal report yesterday.

The demand has been made before, and Israel has rejected it, the newspaper notes.

US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan would see the terror group release the remaining 48 hostages — some 20 of whom are believed to be alive — within 72 hours, in exchange for 250 life-term Palestinian prisoners; 1,700 Gazans detained since the October 7 massacre, which sparked the Gaza war; and the remains of 15 slain Gazans in exchange for each deceased hostage.

Indirect negotiations over the plan are ongoing in Egypt.

At this point, there is only one solution in dealing with genocidal maniacs.  Kill every last one of them, literally every last one of them, and do it quickly.  Bomb their population back to the stone age.  Destroy entire cities as the allies did in WWII!

As Admiral Halsey said about the Japanese, that applies even more so to these genocidal maniacs.

Take out entire cities, end humanitarian aid, and starve these people to take action against Hamas, or let them die supporting these evil genocidal maniacs.  But to continue with a small stick, that is nonsense.

End this nonsense of global permission bullsh*t.  Better to ask forgiveness.  End them now, do it swiftly.

Speaking of reality @libertybele ---- can't the same be said of Israel who bombed the very negotiations they were in favor of to stop them and then went on to change the new proposal (they were also in favor of) after it was given to the Arab coalition by the POTUS?  ....

Please show me the part that Israel changed.  You have made this claim twice now, but have yet to show what Israel changed.  Thus, the pitfalls of making it up as you go.

Also, why would Hamas ever agree to go against their own charter which specifically states, "Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement" and "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors"?

As best I understand it @libertybele both sides have to agree before the deadline is triggered --- and since the negotiations are still ongoing, no agreement has been reached so no deadline has (yet) been missed.

Again:

Quote
Fortunately for Hamas, however, they will be given one last chance! Great, powerful, and very rich Nations of the Middle East, and the surrounding areas beyond, together with the United States of America, have agreed, with Israel signing on, to PEACE, after 3000 years, in the Middle East. THIS DEAL ALSO SPARES THE LIVES OF ALL REMAINING HAMAS FIGHTERS! The details of the document are known to the WORLD, and it is a great one for ALL! We will have PEACE in the Middle East one way or the other. The violence and bloodshed will stop. RELEASES THE HOSTAGES, ALL OF THEM, INCLUDING THE BODIES OF THOSE THAT ARE DEAD, NOW! An Agreement must be reached with Hamas by Sunday Evening at SIX (6) P.M., Washington, D.C. time. Every Country has signed on! If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

Enough already, start dropping bombs. This is Chamberlain and Hitler all over again. Once the bombs start falling (And I am talking carpet bombing) the hostages will be released.

Top U.S. officials join Gaza talks as Hamas voices optimism
NBC News, Oct 8, 2025

Hamas and Egypt voiced new optimism Wednesday as President Donald Trump's envoy and key mediators joined talks to end Israel's war in Gaza.

“A spirit of optimism prevails among all,” the militant group said after it submitted a list of Palestinian prisoners to be released in exchange for Israeli hostages under the U.S. plan.

The release of those still held in Gaza and 1,950 Palestinian prisoners are crucial parts of Trump’s 20-point proposal.

Israel has not yet commented on the Hamas statement.

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi, who is hosting the talks in the Sharm el-Sheikh resort, said the messages he had received were also “very encouraging.”

The arrival of Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner at the third day of talks — along with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Thani — comes after Israel and the Palestinians marked the second anniversary of the October 7 attacks and the devastating conflict that followed.

A high-level member of Hamas’ political branch told NBC News that Wednesday’s negotiations had begun.

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to attend a meeting on the future of Gaza in Paris on Thursday, a French diplomatic source briefed on the matter told NBC News.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not comment on the status of the talks in Egypt, but told Israelis on Tuesday that they were in “fateful days of decision.”

Trump expressed optimism about the talks, telling reporters in Washington there was “a possibility that we could have peace in the Middle East.”

Qatar wants international guarantees, led by the U.S., that what is negotiated in Egypt will lead to Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza, the entry of more aid, and a permanent end to the war, foreign ministry spokesperson Majed al-Ansari told Saudi Arabian news channel al-Hadath on Tuesday.

Wednesday "will undoubtedly be a pivotal day in determining these details," he said.

But Israel's far-right Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir urged Netanyahu to pursue "complete victory" over Hamas in Gaza, in a video posted on X that was filmed by the mosque on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount.

Another video showed him praying at the compound, his latest challenge to a decades-old understanding allowing only Muslim worship at the site.

Israel has continued its assault on Gaza while the talks have been taking place. Its military campaign has killed more than 67,000 people, reducing much of the enclave to rubble following the October 7, 2023 attacks by Hamas, in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken to Gaza as hostages.

If true, then why are Witkoff and Kushner even over there talking to them after Trump's hard deadline?  My read on this is that Trump is so obsessed with making peace in the Middle East and win the Nobel Price for it, he's telegraphing his bluffs, which the Arabs are now calling.  It's the Qataris (and probably the Saudis) who are calling the tune now because they sense Trump's personal weakness here.
