Inappropriate comments about Charlie Kirk assassination gets workers fired
Workers lose jobs following controversial Charlie Kirk comments

By Daniella Genovese , Sophia Compton FOXBusiness

A growing number of individuals are facing professional consequences, from being fired or placed on administrative leave, for public comments they made in the wake of the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

After the 31-year-old CEO of Turning Point USA was shot and killed during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, a growing list of political leaders, business figures and media outlets across the spectrum condemned the political violence.

But others cited Kirk’s political views as a reason not to mourn his death, which critics argued minimized or excused the violence. At the same time, others used it as an opportunity to highlight the rise in shootings, particularly those claiming the lives of children.

MSNBC political analyst Matthew Dowd was seen as the first of many figures to face consequences for his comments, but the list quickly grew.

One of those who made vile comments after Charlie's death was the mayor of the small (2,400) town near our home. There will be a peaceful protest on Saturday, demanding his resignation. I plan to attend.

🚨 BREAKING: A searchable database will soon be released exposing over 50,000 leftists who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death, listing their names and employers. This is an increase from 30,000 and 40,000 in just a couple days. A lot of people are about to get fired.

Can't wait for the left to do this kind of stuff. If you publically say something about Pride month, into the enemies list you go.

What makes you think that doesn’t already exist?

It does - and has existed for quite a while. What is "cancel culture" if not the left shutting down every single person who says the wrong thing, the wrong word?

They're already doing it.  Been doing it for the last eight years.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

:silly: :tongue2:

I am probably already on a few of their lists, and I think we Conservatives are behind that curve (The left already has them).

I donate to veterans groups, former member of the NRA, have posted my concise opinions on numerous forums about trans nonsense, extensively posted about topics from (Anthropogenic) Global Warming/Climate Change, signed the "Oregon Petition with over 34,000 other scientists opposing the Kyoto Accords, wrote quite a bit about COVID (in defiance of the narrative), etc. etc. etc.

But consider that anyone rooting for the death of any but the most heinous criminals convicted through Due Process is demonstrating a lack of empathy, in this case for his wife and kids, and a lack of conscience about publicly executing anyone they think they have a reason to disagree with (even though a lot of that is based on lies), really isn't the sort of person I'd want helping someone in a medical or teaching position, for starters. I would not want employees who can't hang onto their emotions and dogma enough to not cost me half the business that might walk in the door by not filling orders (like for posters for a vigil).
As for the owners of the various businesses that are firing people over this, they have the control of their business, they have the right to employ or not employ anyone they find to be exhibiting poor judgement, just as much as the nasty people who are celebrating the death of someone who would have treated them far better have a 'right' to post what they want in public forums, and suffer whatever consequences that come of that.
How God must weep at humans' folly! Stand fast! God knows what he is doing!
Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
